I met Toni in February of 2017 when I worked for the Mosaique Showroom in Paris. In addition to being talented, creative and avant-garde, he is a charming and generous person.
He launched his label in 1999. After completing his bachelor of fashion design with honours at Royal Melbourne Institute in Australia, Maticevski worked with Donna Karan in NY.
He then moved to Paris to work at Cerruti womenswear for two seasons before returning to Melbourne where he continued to develop his unique design philosophy. Toni has balanced art and fashion throughout his career with his own unique aesthetic. His pieces have been purchased as part of the collections of the National Gallery of Victoria, Bendigo Gallery, Powerhouse Museum Sydney and the Fashion Institute of Design in Los Angeles.
Maticevski is currently stocked in over 35 countries worldwide and in over 100 stores, department stores, boutiques and online platforms.
Here some of his collection.
